Claims

Depending on the insurance plan you have selected, you will have to pay the stipulated excess amount according to insured plan in the event of a claim. To find out how much is your excess, please refer to the excess charge table below.

*NB: For 2nd and subsequent claims within any 12 month period, there will be additional 100% loading on the excess charges and 50% co-insurance.
For e.g. if your excess is S$50 and the retail price for the mobile phone which you paid for is $500, you will have to pay an additional 100% loading on excess ($50 x 2 = $100) plus 50% co-insurance (i.e. 50% x ($500 - $100) = $200) which adds up to S$300.

Types of Claims

There are 3 types of claims that may arise namely, Replacement, Repair and Indemnification of unauthorized calls.

1. Replacement
   Should you lose your mobile phone, kindly contact SingTel Mobile Customer Service Center at 1626 and report the lost immediately. By doing so, you will be indemnified against unauthorized calls made from your mobile phone for the period you report your loss and termination of your mobile phone line. Please contact us to find out more on how to submit a claim.
   The replacement of the mobile phone should be based on same make & model or equivalent (according to the description in the application form). MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. will reimburse you accordingly, based on invoice amount less excess charge.

2. Repair
   For damage claim, you will need to bring your phone to your respective authorized service centre to obtain a quotation and service report. Please contact us to find out more on how to submit a claim.

3. Indemnification against Unauthorised calls
   If you have unauthorised calls made from your mobile phone after you have reported to SingTel Mobile, we will reimburse that amount billed by SingTel Mobile.
